More fungi fun

I woke up ridiculously early ( a number beginning with 5), and decided to make the most of it by getting out to Woolley Wood for an early walk.  I was there not long after 7 a.m. Today's forecast suggested at least a few sunny intervals, whereas the days from Thursday onwards look very grey.
The USA mid-term elections have been on my mind, not least because I'm in touch (online) with a very close friend there, and we chat about it. It's hard not to feel anxious about the possibility of renewed Trump influence, even if it's not Donald himself in 2024 but a different figurehead. Anyway, the morning walk took my mind off all that for a while.
After that, I came back, did some Greek homework, and then picked Frieda up from preschool just after 3. I was able to hand over to Jack and Marianna two copies of the Frieda photobook that I've just finished, and they - and Frieda herself - seem very happy with it.
