Intense

One of those moments when you can see the rain approaching you down the path, while you’re still standing in strong sunshine.  A quite intense and sustained shower came up behind so I curtailed my lunchtime walk.

Later, I headed up to Ilkley to see comedian/activist Mark Thomas’ latest touring show. It was nice to bump into a couple of former colleagues who I hadn’t seen for a few years, and I briefly spied another. I’d booked my tickets a few weeks ago as a mid-week wellbeing treat, but of course when it came down to it it was an effort to drag myself out again after commuting to work and back. It was worth it though.
