Dreich weather

It rained long and hard overnight and until just after 11am this morning.  Whilst it didn’t stop completely, we decided it was light enough to enable us to go out and deliver some leaflets in Parnell.  We made good progress before stopping for lunch at a little café on Brighton Road. After lunch we started putting up the weekend’s open home signs.  I drive, Mr MacD jumps in and out of the car.  We’re a great team!  After we arrived home we went over to have a drink with Mum and make sure she had a little something to eat.

I saw the trees as I walked around Parnell.  The Australian Frangipani’s leaves had been blown off by the wind, creating a yellow carpet on the footpath.  It has a beautiful scent.  The two trees with the beautiful bark were on either side of a driveway.
