First coat

The new kitchen which was installed earlier this year by Michael (the builder) has been languishing in the midst of walls untreated and unpainted.

It has been doing my head in and I’d marked next weekend out as a time for attack and to start slapping some paint about. You can imagine then how grateful I was, when my kind father offered to put a white base coat down for me!

I disappeared off for a full day (yes, a FULL day!) in the office whilst he set to work with a selection of brushes and rollers. I came home this evening to be greeted by this sight. Even a rough first coat has made it look about a million times better and I’m inspired to stick to my plans next weekend and finish the job off!!
