Silent Movie

Well, after the excitement of yesterday and the run out in a Bentley, we needed to calm things down a bit.

That car is a monster. It weighs nearly three tons and propels you in the most comfortable way imaginable to impossible speeds. A bit like Rita in an armchair. (Reference to an Alton Towers theme park ride which is just about speed)

So, after a lazy morning, and a cooked breakfast, our visitors left us, to return the beast to its rightful owner. (Some Oil Shiek or internet billionnaire I am sure).

And Mrs I, Hollie dog and my self went walkies. We returned to our new favourite field near Craven Arms where there is a river, a mill, about a mile of lush flat green grass and a perfect example of an ox bow lake in the making.  The weir is thunderous and impressive and my ears haven't rung so much since we saw Status Quo live in 1978. If you want to know how loud it was try this...

The oxbow lake is about 1 minute 30, the millstream at 4 minutes fifty and the weir around about 9 minutes 30. Its the live version and over 16 minutes long. I can only think of two or three blippers who are likely to stay the course. A glass of JD will help.

Anyway, thats how we destress in Shropshire!

Have a great week everyone, I know you'll do your best.
