Dandelion Clock

Anticipating the rain I nipped into the garden, still in my dressing gown, to photograph these dandelion heads, which I was surprised to see so late in the year. Typically enough, a breeze popped up just as I began so I picked this one to hold in a better position.

The rain began shortly afterwards and continued until around 4pm, when we were graced with a rainbow in the east and a glow, diffused by the cloud,  in the western sky.
