Job 1/2 done?

About 12-13 months ago I gave the neglected Jasminum nudiflorum a rather ferocious Crew-cut;  It seems to have worked. 
The customary - BUT - I forgot to shift the Cornus; the pair of them currently in flagrante delicto.     ( : ¬ o)  
All I now need to do is make it more regular AND pour a bucket of cold water over them.   ;¬)
