A Day Worth Recording

Another excellent, if tiring, day. Started with E, C and I going on a brisk walk along the coast path before breakfast. The yellow of the broom was spectacular.

After breakfast was a more sedate walk along the beach and back - which allowed the youngster to stride on ahead, and the elders and photographers to meander at their own pace; most of us gathering together again on the return trip.

Met up with S to say goodbye (for only a couple of days as it happens) then four of us set off homewards, leaving two there for another day.

We drove up to Devils Bridge which looked interesting with oddity bridging, waterfalls and the terminus of the Vale of Rheildol railway. The bridge/falls were OK, but depressingly touristicated. The Railway you expect to be commercial but seeing the sights was free, and a train conveniently arrived while we were there.

Then the long drive back, via Coventry to drop of M, then home and a long soak in a solar heated bath.

Photographically quite pleased with this one - straight out of the camera.
