Old Faithful is home

It being my car, which I picked up from the autobody shop this afternoon.  The passenger side looks so lovely and shiny that the driver's side looks even more derelict with all its scratches and dings and scrapes. But it's running smoother and even a bit quieter, I think, and it's great to be able to open the trunk with a lever and have no trouble reaching the lid to bring it down. After twelve years it's still a good car and with its low mileage it should last a lot more years.

Here is a photo of that wonderful soup, which I had for lunch today. I'd planned to do some grocery shopping today but the call from the body shop put paid to that.  And of course everything will be closed tomorrow.
