A surprise

A little while ago, there was a knock on my door and it was members of the residents' association committee bringing a pre-Thanksgiving dinner.  I hadn't signed up for it, as there's very little there than I'm actually allowed to eat, but it was nice to have and I did eat some of the pumpkin pie.  There were small containers of turkey, stuffing, gravy, some unidentifiable vegetables, and a little bag of chocolate mints for dessert.  Pre-pandemic, we would gather in the community room for a hot meal, but I think they've adapted pretty well.

I had planned to find something tiny to blip today, but then I saw this gorgeous glow outside and had to photograph it.
