Bluebells

Today I went with a friend to see the bluebells at Hatchlands Park, a National trust property famous for its bluebells every May. They were exquisite this year - carpets of bluebells under the trees, and we walked along the path amongst the seemingly never ending flowers. Some thoughtful member of staff had hung bluebell fairies amongst the trees!

Then we went to the café for tea - I do love the National Trust cafes, they usually have delicious cakes and scones...but I could not believe it, we both refrained from indulging in the delicious looking carrot cake and only had Earl Grey tea instead.
