The Good Old Days

Had to go into Craven Arms this morning, Hollie has been 'wommiting bad, Mr Herriott'... Took her to the vets. Long story short, injection, tablets, £130.

Afterwards we had a walk round, it's an interesting little town with some important buildings. The blip is a collage of what used to be an old market building but is now an amazing museum, privately run and stocked with myriad exhibits from bygone times. The museum is well worth a visit and most people of my generation will recognise familiar items from their childhood years.

But my interest is the building itself. A marvel of Victorian architecture, with some really beautiful brickwork.

I am led to believe the museum is set to close down soon, not sure why. It is very popular but I guess funding is an issue.

This afternoon we had a drive out to check our aging caravan in Wales. Our last visit in October involved a repair to a leaking roof, which so far seems to have worked.

FIngers crossed.

Back home for a Friday evening in front of TV... Not a lot to shout about, but Hollie has been OK so that's good.

Have a nice weekend everyone.
