Recycle shop

This was waiting for us before we even started at the hall this morning. We always get there about 30 minutes before we open to get a bit organised and for instances such as this! There were others volunteering upstairs today so Kath and I manned the shop together, not often we get the chance to do that. Lucky we did as there was so much to get through. We had to bring all the Christmas stuff back down from the hall after closing, to make way for the Christmas tree going up in the hall tomorrow. We stayed on for an extra hour and managed to get it all finished, now displayed downstairs for the next few weeks. We have sold quite a lot already, over £200 being donated so far. We hope to pass on quite a lot more before Christmas as after we will be gifted a whole lot more ready for next year!
I was a bit lazy the rest of the day, apart from a short walk with Reg as that was all he wanted. Barry was away at his parents doing some fencing and tree cutting for them. He had fish and chips on the way home so I made myself some chips in the air fryer, yummy they were too. It was nice not to have to prepare a complete meal for a change.
Tomorrow I must bash on with my card making and ordering a few gifts for the grandchildren.
