Christmas cuddle

A waterless day. Last night around 10pm the water went off for the umpteenth time this year. Oban's water mains must be the worst anywhere and just as soon as one burst is repaired they burst somewhere else. Having checked the website several times we learn that 'there will be an update at 6.30pm today'! If I hadn't installed a water butt to collect water from the roof I don't know what we'd do! They used to leave stashes of bottled water at various localities, but now you have to be without water for a long time before they'll do that, so a trip to the supermarket was needed this morning.

Mrs M went to Dunollie today to help with 'Dunollie makes Christmas' and while I was waiting in the car park to pick her up this afternoon I was treated to the sight of Santa striding down the path. A little boy ran up for a cuddle, so here they are beside a couple of snowmen! Christmas? Only a month away!
