Bonkers basil

My weekly catch-up with Mark was nice. I pointed out that this is, probably, the last one. We’ve been meeting every Friday morning since he arrived. Initially it was in the cafe on the 2nd Floor of the office and, obviously, recently, we met virtually. Sometimes we used to be the only two people in the office on a Friday so it was fun.

We sat in the garden after work with a glass of wine. The herb pot has gone a bit crazy. We’re going to need recipes with Basil this week. We decided on a takeaway from Sticks & Sushi.  Always delicious (and a bit expensive but we justified it by saying a restaurant would have been more). Then to pick up a TooGoodToHo back so we are spending with one hand and saving with the other. 

We completed Spy City, a series about Cold War spies in Berlin just before the wall was erected. Dominic Cooper, as Fielding Scott, seems to be the perfect British spy. Enjoyable way to pass a few hours but I can’t work out where it will go if there is ever a second series.
