A Day In The Life

Gnaw On This

In case you didn’t know, Eastern gray squirrels have 4 front teeth that never stop growing. They grow up to 6 inches per year (or 15 cm)! Chewing and gnawing are a must to keep their incisors the perfect size • This squirrel’s astonished look sums up the way we’re all feeling about the temperatures forecasted for the week. A couple of chilly seasonable days mixed in with milder days of 40-50F! Unreal for the end of November/early December. My holiday spirit is waning with thoughts of spring, but a good snowstorm will knock some sense into me :) • Steve put in a couple of hours before discovering he needed a few other supplies. He’ll return tomorrow to install lights and finish the roof • The City’s contractors left a small backhoe near our driveway this morning. We assume the roadwork begins tomorrow… • I’m off to do some strumming, before making soup for dinner tonight. What kind? I have no idea but leaning towards a faux chicken-noodle, or maybe a tomato vegetable. Hmmm, may need MrsP to weigh in :)
