Carol singing from the front row

I was there, seated next to Liz (in the grey coat). Charnwood Voices did a three hour stint of carol singing in the Carillon Centre in Loughborough raising money for Pancreatic Cancer. A former choir member had died from it.

The Bach Choir music director did not favour such community events because he could not control the sound which he felt would reflect unfavourably on him, (I think).

I had recalled that I had a rainbow coloured woollen jacket bought from Uncle Aziz some years ago, and wore that. Which was a good idea. I was just beginning to feel the cold creeping into my bones as we finished.

After lunch at the Baobab Cafe, we returned home.
