Smoke, heat, and carbon monoxide alarm fitting

We all stayed indoors today.

Until early evening, I wrote Christmas cards and letters*, Mr hazelh scripted a new play, and Mummy hazelh read her book. We had an early supper so that we were ready to watch a certain football match between England and Senegal at 7pm.

My blip shows the outcome of Mr hazelh's DIY exertions yesterday. He installed eleven smoke, heat, and carbon monoxide alarms throughout the flat - check the ceilings in the shot. By undertaking this job himself Mr hazelh has saved us £350. The view here is from the back door, through the corrindor (named after our former lodger Corrin), to the hall and the door to the porch.

*As well as dealing with our own cards and letters, I wrote a round robin letter for Mummy hazelh, and addressed all her envelopes. She managed to sign all her cards and each copy of her letter, even if she couldn't remember all of the recipients :-(

Exercise today: none.
