Loki, God of Mischief (Sunday 4th December 2022)

I ended up in Trowbridge this afternoon after a round trip that took in buying garden stuff and bird food in Chippenham and then picking up the bargain hi-fi components I'd ordered in Bath on Monday. It was already almost dark when I arrived at C.'s so Loki had to endure flash, but he really wasn't bothered. I also got petrol in Melksham on the ride home, the cheapest in the area.

I heard this great version of Big Audio Dynamite's classic in the car on the drive home, when Iggy Pop played it on his Confidential 6 Music show. It is exclusive to the album Late Night Tales Presents Version Excursion, Selected By Don Letts. Don Letts and Mick Jones composed the original in 1985, which featured samples from Nic Roeg films.
