The Lozarithm Lens

Diary Blip (Monday 5th December 2022)

Having collected new bits of kit from Bath on Sunday, I set aside Monday afternoon to installing them. The greatly reduced £39 bookshelf speakers are in the porch acting as extension speakers from an amplifier in the kitchen. They replaced a very old pair of round Ariston speakers that have now been relocated to act as rear speakers in a surround system elsewhere.

Upstairs I had a very old Marantz mini hifi that didn't work at all apart from the DAB radio, so that has been replaced with a new Denon unit (in Extras) that was £100 below its normal price, and in tests sounds great paired with the same Dali speakers that were in use with the old Marantz, which I have found another use for.

In the morning I found a new place to store all the planks and posts taken down from the rafters of the car port.
