The Woodland Garden (Tuesday 6th December 2022)

Having moved all the planks to a trench the next job was to protect them from rain by covering them in waterproof plastic bags weighed down with pieces of rubble (the trench had also been lined with more bags first). When finished it was effective but rather unsightly as it wasn't as out of sight as I'd imagined due to the height of the planks.

I was accompanied throughout by one of the garden robins who came up close in hope of things unturned, posing beautifully while I was without a camera. I then fetched one and spent many long hopeful minutes trying for a close up, both out of doors and later from the porch, but (s)he proved elusive. I did get a couple of shots of the garden for practice. My blip shows some autumn geranium colours in the vine patch and leaves in Extras from beside the car port.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Simon and Garfunkel - Flowers Never Bend With The Rainfall (recorded 22nd December 1965, CBS Studios, Hollywood CA)
I got around to playing the CD that was in the CD player as depicted in the Extra of the previous blip, Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme. This track was actually recorded at the sessions for their previous album, Sounds Of Silence, but was instead released first on the B-side of I Am A Rock. I used to own that mono single in 1966 and played this side many times over. On CD, the mono mix is impossible to find so this is the stereo Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme album mix.
