The Lozarithm Lens

The Old Forge (Wednesday 6th December 2023)

For duty over and above the call of duty during Monday's drive home through flooded main roads I treated Archana (Archie) to two sparkling new tyres and a pair of top quality wiper blades at Trowbridge's Halfords. The day was so grey, cold and uninspiring that even though there were plenty of hypothetical Blipportunities (Melksham, Bowerhill, Caen Hill, Rowde, Lacock, Bowood...) I drove directly home for a late lunch without stopping.

Here instead is a tray of medlar fruits going through the bletting process. Extra points for spotting the ladybird.
