Three Sisters

It was a lovely morning with pink clouds over the loch. I suppose I should have taken a picture. After breakfast we drove up through Glencoe to Rannoch Moor meeting some big snowflakes on the way. When we got to Loch ba we could see that Stob nan Losgann and Stob nan Cruaiche were covered with the white stuff. That wasn't there yesterday! It was very soggy around there but we took a few pictures.

We thought we might get a coffee at Bridge of Orchy but failed in that. Driving back towards Glencoe we saw some nice light on the mountains and pulled into a lay by near Loch Tulla. We'd taken a few pics when all of a sudden there were three hundred people piling out of coaches and taking selfies. Time to go (2nd extra).

After a coffee and a sandwich at the Glencoe Visitor Centre we drove to the top of the pass and took the old military road up to one of my favourite viewpoints looking west down the pass. That's my main blip. It’s quite wide, it’s 8 portrait shots merged to panorama if you’re interested in the technical stuff. By the time we got back to the car it was starting to rain and the light was going so we headed back to base.

The sky was colouring up so we carried on past the hotel to Appin for the view of Castle Stalker. We got a cup of tea in The View and took some photos of the sunset. You can see that in my first extra. It's been a good day.
