Sun on the beach avenue

Can’t get enough of the beach avenue in Mote Park, especially in the bright early winter sunshine which greeted us this morning and stayed for the day.

Thank you for all your comments and concern about yesterday’s endurance journey from Edinburgh. In the end we were 2 hours 11 minutes late into Kings Cross. A total lack of information from LNER we were subjected to regular platitudes from the train staff which irritated in the end. I wouldn’t like to be doing their job yesterday. No wonder they kept a low profile.

We scooted across London to Victoria, managed to buy sandwiches and tickets and we’re on the 21.25 train home. Smoothest and warmest part of the journey.

All my Christmas cards written and posted and many other just jobs ticked off the list this afternoon while Susan visited her mum. Two really lovely videos of Madison this afternoon. Three weeks old today and has already changed from when she was just born. Her little body looks so smooth and fits her perfectly. It’s difficult to describe big you’ll no doubt know what I mean.
