On the way home

There had been rain overnight, but fortunately by the time we’d had breakfast and were on the road, it was drying up, and there were signs of the sun trying to break through the clouds. As we drove over the mountains some of the peaks were clear, and others still had clouds on the top - it made for a beautiful and interesting sky. Our journey went smoothly with no major hold ups, and we arrived home late afternoon. Roger popped out to do a bit of grocery shopping so we had something to eat, while I stayed home to get on with unpacking and laundry.
