Glamorous

Drama today: plumbers trying to work out why the barn’s heat pump isn’t getting much heat to the radiators. Outcome: no progress.

After work, I head into Edinburgh to meet Richard who is up for Bean’s graduation in Glasgow tomorrow. We drink at The Jolly Botanist till closing time before grabbing a taxi to the Edinburgh Park Travelodge.

They’ve given him a family room that has two pull out single beds. I’ve had the foresight to bring my sleeping bag. A good, but terribly short, night’s sleep awaits.
