Dyn hapus ar ddiwrnod rhewllyd ~ A happy man on a frosty day

“We could actually unplug the refrigerator of samsara, or confusion. It might take several hours to defrost; nevertheless, as long as we have unplugged that particular refrigerator, defrosting is going to happen. So we shouldn’t feel that we are stuck with those karmic situations. We should feel that we always have the opportunity to interrupt the flow of karma.”

Roedd rhaid i mi fynd i'r pentref - yn annisgwyl - i gasglu parsel. Roeddwn i wedi prynu camera newydd (sy'n gallu printio), ond doedden ni ddim yn clywed y cwmni dosbarthu ar ein tŷ ni, felly aethon nhw i ffwrdd a wnaethon nhw ei gadael yn y Co-op yn y pentref.  Wrth gwrs roedd rhaid i mi tipyn bach o siopa i wneud beth bynnag, ac es i ar fy cylchrodiad o gwmpas yr eglwys hefyd.

Heddiw sylwais i'r cerfiad o'r dyn hapus hwn ar y wal ger un o ffenestri'r eglwys. Mae nifer o gerfiadau fel hyn o gwmpas yr eglwys ac rydw i'n siŵr mae stori gyda nhw i gyd (ond dydw i ddim yn gwybod dim byd amdanyn nhw).

Roedd fy nhaith yn llwyddiannus a nawr mae camera newydd gyda fi (sy'n gallu printio) ac rydw i'n edrych ymlaen at chwarae gyda fe.

Rydw i'n ddyn hapus ar ddiwrnod rhewllyd.

I had to go to the village - unexpectedly - to collect a parcel. I had bought a new camera (which can print), but we couldn't hear the delivery company at our house, so they went away and left it at the Co-op in the village. Of course I had to do a bit of shopping to do whatever, and I also went on my rounds around the church.

Today I noticed the carving of this happy man on the wall near one of the church windows. There are a number of carvings like this around the church and I'm sure they all have a story (but I don't know anything about them).

My trip was successful and now I have a new camera (that can print) and I'm looking forward to playing with it.
