A Day Worth Recording

Worcester

We went into Worcester for the first time since ? 2019.  It's not exactly far away but we rarely have need of a larger shopping centre.  The draw on this occasion was a combination of a friend's exhibition at an art gallery and that E wanted to go to the "Victorian Market".

The latter was, to no surprise to me I'm afraid, a decidedly unexciting array of stalls mostly selling probably-Chinese tat.  We bought some cheese.

The gallery visit was enjoyable and seeing some of Dan's pieces properly was good, and to talk to other artists there.

While here, we dropped into the cathedral.  Amid much grandness and over-the-top ornamentation, and more stalls, there was this quiet corner with a simple wooden table altar.  It appealed to me.
