Snow

I was taken aback this morning when I opened the shutters. I hadn't anticipated the return of Thursday's snow and this pretty scene.

I slept really well last night, but I'm still suffering a bit from my cold, so cosied up indoors all day. I finished a blog post about the training event that I contributed to last month, chatted with Helen in Cardiff on the phone for about an hour, then started a small sewing project.

The main event of the day will be on television from 7pm. I am not sure if I will be able to bear watching the entire World Cup quarter-final football match between England and France. We'll see. At least I will have my sewing to distract me.
