Another crow

Yesterday I blipped Crow - the bird. Today it's Crow - the butterfly. Otherwise known as Euploea core, which is found from India, though SE Asia to northern and eastern Australia. Including Brisbane, where I was this morning, before driving home to Lennox Head.

The extra shows the upper surface of the same butterfly.

The photos were taken in parkland near where my brother and sister-in-law live near Moreton Bay in Brisbane. I suspect the flowering plant is Grey or Cinnamon Myrtle, Backhousia myrtifolia, which is in the Myrtaceae family along with gum trees, bottlebrushes and many others.
