Buckfast Abbey by me!

I did this painting from a photo taken at the Abbey some years ago. I painted the shape of the building in gold acrylic paint and then built it up from there. It was a very unusual colour, which was what attracted me. The perspective was hard to get right, but I think I almost got it in the end!!

Going down to the shop soon to get some meat for lunch and a pizza for tomorrow's lunch - we tend to have easier meals on a Sunday after church usually. It sounds very windy out there and the sun is in and out. Then, this afternoon will be the typing and copying of the news sheet. And this evening will be watching "Britain's Got Talent".
