From Russian with Love

What with the black ice, freezing temperatures (“bring blankets” said the organiser) we almost didn’t go to a concert this afternoon in Dunblane Cathedral.

So glad we made the effort.   Russian pianist, Yulia Chapina, winner of seven international piano competitions, gave an outstanding performance. Her repertoire included Mozart, Brahms, Debussy and Chopin.

Yes the cathedral was a little chilly but only a few brought blankets.  ( see extra). They were not needed because the cathedral did have some heating on.

Yuli Chapina kept her Russian hat on all the time.
