…………………to the soul!

After yesterdays relative mildness today has been decidedly chilly…the frost hasn’t let up and the world outside is like a skating rink! We have had some pretty pink skies this afternoon though,

I had been versed with taking the wee one to some Christmas sing song in Berwick this morning for nursery but yesterday we’d decided he’d just have a day off and I’d look after him. MC had rung the Drs first thing before bringing him along…we’re still waiting for a phone consultation to happen! I was supposed to be driving him back home but my car is frozen shut and I can’t get the doors open so MC will have to walk over for him. Usually the boiler flue keeps the front of the car defrosted but it’s come nowhere near today…despite the heating being on all day.

Having had a model (albeit an unwilling one) all day, todays challenge was made somewhat easier…a little bribery goes a long way - bag of crisps to hand and Toy Tory Fee on the TV and he nearly sat still! We’d just watched Faun the Feep Christmas movie for the third time when Pops arrived to take him home…bundled in a blanket like a little Eskimo inside his buggy. Peace reigns once more!
