Back Blip - please bear with me while I do a bit of a catch-up!

Time for another bit of the Monkland Canal. To be fair, there are only two short stretches of the Monkland Canal still above ground and visible. One lies just to the south of Drumpellier Country Park and the other - like its neighbour just around 2-3km in length - appears at Sikeside, Coatbridge and runs eastward until it merges with the North Calder Water  It was this eastern part that I chose for my walk today. Looking almost scenic as it passes Palacecraig.
