Hedgehog

I went to top up my hedgehog food last night and there was already a hedgehog in the feeding box! The water bowl had been almost empty and I was glad he didn’t run away when I refilled it. Outside, there was already a thick frost and the water outside had already frozen.

Apparently hedgehogs should be hibernating now, but many wake up and come out for a snack. It’s only if they are seen out and about in daylight that they need rescuing.

I almost forgot - my little cat Pickle only caught ONE mouse today!
