Can you see me now?

I would have worn this while walking Samuel tonight but Samuel refused to walk in the rain. It rained all day. When he really, really needed to go earlier he asked Karen. Tomorrow is supposed to be a nicer day and we’re just lucky we didn’t get the threatened ice.

What a horrible day!! But at the end of the day I vented with a new friend. The young women of today are amazing. They are strong and determined and brave and I am lucky that she befriended me. So even though I used up every single ounce of patience on a horrible no-good rotten rainy day, it was a good day and I’m in a good mood.

In addition to considering Patriot missiles, we are considering sending Ukraine kits which convert munitions into smart bombs. I think this is a bomb that has a smaller chance of error, that lands more precisely. It has wings that can be controlled so the fall can be adjusted. We are also thinking of sending another bomb that has greater range. We are expanding training for their soldiers at our base in Germany.

There is a video of Russian soldiers complaining about poor living conditions and being written up for drinking. There is another video of a Russian regiment fundraising.

On Monday Ukraine destroyed that bridge Russians were using to supply troops across the Molochna River. Yesterday they got two Russian ammunition depots.

A US Air Force veteran has been freed from Russia in a prisoner swap. Suede Murekezi moved to Ukraine in 2018 and was captured by pro-Russian separatists in Kherson in June.

Ukraine and Turkey have an agreement that will allow Ukraine to manufacture the famous Bayraktar drones.

Evils Levitas, Latvia’s president, calls for an international tribunal to judge the invasion. He said it is necessary to be able to seize Russian assets abroad. Britain’s  attorney general said that 90 Ukrainian judges would be given training to prosecute war crimes.

Holcim, one of the world’s largest cement makers, finished its withdrawal from Russia. It signed an agreement to sell its business to the local management team.

Someone is messing with GPS signals in Russian cities. It could be that Russia is doing it to mess with Ukrainians drones using GPS. “The days where Russians underestimate Ukrainian long-range strike capabilities is certainly over.” (Sic)

The EU agreed to grant loans to pay for basic Ukrainian services. Hungary dropped its veto threats. It is about $19billion.

Remember, in early May Russian media said that Ukraine was using sorcerers. In April they reported that Ukrainian authorities used witches and black magic against Russian troops. So an enormous sinkhole, described as a “gate to hell” by local media, has opened up close to one of Russia’s popular ski resorts. Sure, scientists say that it is because of the release of methane from melting permafrost, but which do you think is more likely?
