Newcastle Downunder

It's a wrap

This St Andrews Cross spider has been living in the lavender for months.  It was in the North wing for a couple of months and then just recently has moved to the South wing.  It seemed to catch bees in the North wing but has scored a cabbage white in the South wing.

Today has been a visit to my aunt then a short and unsuccessful foray into the shops looking for a Christmas present for our secret santa and then home where it has been sourdough sortie #2.  I am in the second last proving period.  At this rate, it won't go in the oven until 10 pm but at least it seems to be holding it's shape (sort of).  Wish me luck in the last proving stage.  I am not going to use a cloth liner but copious amounts of flour and hope that will help with it not sticking.
