Frost Damage

As the title came to me I realised that this is another ‘F’.
 
 
This was the outlet tap on our big water but/tank.  It has survived numerous winters with temperatures near ‑10C, yet -4C took it out this time.  Silly thing, if I had been able to connect it the other way round the pipe fitting would have split, not the valve, but unfortunately that was too close to the tank for the handle to turn. 
 
And it’s Saturday.  Unfortunately not Tuesday, and that’s silly too . . .
