Could do better ...

I really should have got out somewhere today, as it was chilly, but not as cold as it has been, and tomorrow it's meant to rain all day.  But I didn't.  I spent quite some time in the sewing room, working on the latest block for the Xmas sampler - a photo of which is displayed on the tablet beside it.  

This one was difficult and I've not got it perfect - needs more care!  All the pieces had to be cut out from a template, and then the curved seams sewn, before sewing the resulting square blocks together.  The blocks with the curved pieces are called "drunkard's path" - perhaps one can see why.
