Backblip

There was torrential rain during the night, it woke everyone up, and was still pouring in the morning. We huddled around the stove, not really wanting to start our walk in the rain... but it wasn't going to stop! We used three cars to get to the foot of the Watkin Path and took the footpath to Beddgelert. It wasn't pleasant walking, what with the rain and the ice underfoot, in fact it was lethal, but the pub was reached eventually and most of us ordered tea. Afterwards I snuck outside, found some shelter and ate my sandwiches. 

Two members had driven to Beddgelert and they were able to take the other two drivers to their cars while the rest of us waited in the dry. No-one fancied the walk back!

Fi served us all a meal in the evening, a fantastic selection of vegetarian curries, plus tandoori chicken. Well done to her!
