Deck the halls....

No boughs of holly, because the birds need the berries. Succeeded in putting up the tree and decorating it. Tidied up the mess afterwards. Marzipanned a cake. Made flapjacks with molasses instead of golden syrup. Watched the world cup final.

Made tea (sausages and mash and broccoli. Put away the jigsaw that Indie had tipped on to the floor yesterday, and starter another easier one. Hung up some washing.

Somehow this has taken all day and I' m cream crackered..
