Cookie monsters

Well that was a night that was.  I ended up on the balcony listening to the semi audible commentary on the match from Souled Out and trying to get by the crescendo of the cheers what was happening.  The BBC audio isn't allowed here but I could follow on the BBC news website though it's not instant so a bit of guesswork was required plus messaging #2 son who was in a bar in Bangsar.  Oh the stress and the heat and the, please just win!  Not sure who I was barracking for but even with no visual and almost no audio it was a heart stopping match and I sang along (quietly ) with 'We are the Champions' and the obligatory arm wave at the end.

That meant another late start as I wasn't in bed till after 2.  Did a text.  No lines.  This home is always full of lurgies, usually driven by Amelia and sure enough she spent most of the day sleeping and by night was quite warm.

However, we did go to the playpark and he pool in the morning.  It was cloudy and cool, the pool wasn't that warm and was out of bounds till the pool man finished cleaning it.

In the afternoon we made cookies, wrestling with limited tools and equipment and the savage oven. I sorted some bookings and later G made carbonara.

In the evening I had Zoom coffee with J and then worked till midnight, wrestling with accounts.

Another eclectic day.
