It got much better than this…

… unfortunately we were driving back home along the M2 so had no opportunity to pull over and capture its glory.

Our friends Al and Liz came for the day on the monthly exchange visit. Coffee and biscuits , lunch (soup followed by cheeses) a trip out, afternoon tea, aperitif, dinner… is the order of play.

Our trip out was to Macknade’s Food Hall in Faversham. An emporium that has boundless choices for the foodie from fruit and veg, meat, a deli, cheese, wine beer and other alcohol and all manner of goods often with an Italian theme. Always spend more than you think.

Woke to find England had completed their win over Pakistan in the third and final cricket test to record their first ever 3-0 series win against Pakistan on their own soil. This England team have been transformed this year breaking all sorts of records. Their performances have reignited support for English test cricket.
