Christmas Eve at da Beach

Blue skies and sunshine all day, with a cooling breeze at times.  Reports back home are snow, rain and wind.

Ended up meeting in with Ryan Nisbet (Yell) last night, so a fairly lazy morning today.  Finally made it to the pool for a relaxing morning and dip.  Met up with friends in the afternoon.  A fine meal in the hotel tonight, a few drams and then an early night. 

Good to meet up with friends, Ralph and Ruby Godden.  We spent the afternoon having a few drams, lunch, shopping, coffee and ice-cream down at the beach.  It's defo not a traditional Christmas Eve, and been 11 years since my last Christmas here in the Canaries.  The tropical 30⁰c today certainly didn't feel festive, but plenty in the Christmas spirit here.  L-R - Me, Ralph, Ruby and peerie Brian.  Taken at Playa de la Pinta, Costa Adeje, Tenerife.
