Father Christmas the strike breaker

Today F and I went to his No1 daughter and family's house near Leominster in Herefordshire.  As we passed through Kingsland, we saw  Father Christmas outside the village Post Office with a large sack of post (as well as some fine yarnbombing).  As Royal Mail postal workers are on strike today, I can only assume that he was breaking the strike by collecting letters.  Perhaps he'll deliver them by sleigh tonight.

We had Christmas dinner a day ahead (extra photo)  It wa lovely to see them and a delicious meal was enjoyed by all.  Afterwards we had quizzes and some people played darts.

F's No.2 daughter arrived for the day early Christmas tea.  They had to wait until their shops closed as it's a busy day for trade.  We had a lovely buffet before returning home.
