Not Sinatra And Crosby

On This Day In History
1941: Bing Crosby introduces White Christmas to the world

Quote Of The Day
"Unless we can make Christmas an occasion to share our blessings, all the snow in Alaska won't make it 'white.'"
(Bing Crosby)

Bonus Quote Of The Day
"Frank is a singer who comes along once in a lifetime, but why did he have to come along in mine."
(Bing Crosby)

White Christmas

You can't get a much more perfect expression of Christmas joy than Bing Crosby singing White Christmas. His humorous expression of jealousy towards Frank Sinatra echoes my feelings about Esper Jr's height. Yes, he really is that much taller than me.

Of course, this wasn't the only time Bing Crosby dueted with a singing legend for his annual Christmas special. How can we ever forget this?

Peace On Earth/Little Drummer Boy

Peace on Earth can it be?
Years from now, perhaps we'll see
See the day of glory
See the day, when men of goodwill
Live in peace, live in peace again
Peace on Earth
Can it be?
Every child must be made aware.
Every child must be made to care.
Care enough for his fellow man.
To give more love than he can.
I pray my wish,
Will come true.
For my child,
And your child too.
He'll see the day of glory.
See the day when men of goodwill
Live in peace,
Live in peace again.
Peace on Earth.
Can it be?
Can it be?

Merry Christmas, everybody.
