Feet up. Stomach bulging...

I cooked lunch for Junior today. Venison steak with a strawberry sauce, potato wedges baked in the oven with paprika and Parmesan, plus steamed broccoli. 

Apart from the paprika and Parmesan, everything was produced locally and (mostly) bought in a small, local business. The strawberries even came from my garden (via the freezer, obviously). Junior seemed to enjoy it. He certainly cleaned his plate very quickly.  

The Blip is the table waiting to be put to good use. I am not one for going over the top with decorations. Special occasions can easily be identified by the white tablecloth. Nothing else is needed apart from good company and good food. 

For those Blippers celebrating today, I wish you a heartfelt "Happy Christmas".
