Wound up in Wexford

Departing family

Z and S have flown back to Sweden.

We vacated the AirBnb this morning, then all of us had an early lunch in a rather nice cafe at Thetford Garden Centre.  R and G and the boys are staying the next week or so with G's family, and we were invited to join them - though due to pressure on bedrooms, we're spending the next 3 nights in a rather luxurious hotel (how sad!!).  We dropped Z and S at Cambridge North train station to get the train to Stansted.

We then drove to Kidderminster.  We stopped off at Rugby Services to charge the car, and had a rather long wait in sleety rain, for one of the chargers.  There are 12 chargers, but it was very busy; we were number 12 in the queue to charge.  I could wax lyrical about selfish people who insist on charging to 100%.  It cetainly made me appreciate the Irish system, where ESB, who run most of the chargers, have a 45 minute limit on charging, with an €8 penalty charge if you exceed this.  Anyway, we did eventually get charged up, dropped off some leftover food in Kidderminster, and are now in our hotel.
