New Years Day 2023

Wishing my blip friends a very HAPPY NEW YEAR.

In Wanaka the New Year started with a 'BANG'.  The fireworks woke me up at midnight!.  Teen 'h' and her friends were down by the lakes edge, and enjoyed the display, which lasted for about 5 minutes.

Because it is a Sunday I went for my usual walk before church, the keen rowers were just coming in from their training.  (Blip).  The extra photo is of the flowers.  The hymn for today is 'Amazing Grace'.

I still have 5K steps to do so will get them done when the weather cools down a bit.  Currently it is +25C.

Looking forward to our walk tomorrow, I just hope that it isn't too hot!!
