Last day

All good things, as you know, must come to an end. Unsurprisingly, after another late night/early morning yesterday, I was alone at breakfast for a while and was never joined by #1 and family. I'd been awake early, spending over an hour booking tickets for today. Rubbish website and not easy on a phone.

#3 and H were going to the Botanical, #2 and C hadn't decided and I met up with the others to walk down to the famous Tiong Bahru Bakery Home of the Handmade Croissant) for their breakfast. I had a Parisian.

Then to the Asian Civilisations Museum. We spent over 3 hours there and when we re-emerged it was raining but luckily it was going off. After a bit of toing and froing we walked from the Fullerton to MBS where we met up with Wen's aunt, Angie, #11.

They were having a mid afternoon snack but I left to go over to Gardens by the Bay to meet the rest. #2 and C were cycling down from late lunch at Boat Quay and #3 and H on MRT from the Botanical. #3 was v grumpy, sore feet.

We had a bit of a walk around before the rest joiner is for the Domes, then the light show at the supertrees and then we managed the Skyway Walk (had been closed earlier due to rain). Bit unnerving but great views.

Then our last dinner v together. We managed to get into JustIn, Asian food, just before last orders. And we also caught the laser light and fountains show, the right may round this time.

I ate too much, again, but it was good to be together for one last time. The cyclists went off to get bikes and the rest of us MRT'd home.

And then bed. Another 22k+ step day!
